【摘要】:Thistestmethodissuitableforthegeneralquantitativeanalysisofcommercialtaracidmixtures.Itmaybeusedasatoolforqualitycontrolandspecificationpurposesbyproducersandusers.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthequantitativedeterminationofphenolandcertainhomologuesofphenolintaracidandcresylicacidmixturesusingcapillarygaschromatography.Itisanormalizationtestmethodthatdetermineshomologdistributionbutisnotanabsoluteassaysinceitdoesnotaccountforwaterorothercompoundsnotdetectedbyaflameionizationdetector.1.2Thefollowingappliestoallspecifiedlimitsinthisstandard:forpurposesofdeterminingconformancewiththisstandard,anobservedvalueoracalculatedvalueshallberoundedoff"tothenearestunit"inthelastright-handdigitusedinexpressingthespecificationlimit,inaccordancewiththerounding-offmethodofPracticeE29.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardstatements,seeSection7.
